* White foam meat trays or sheets of foam packing material
* Ice pick or hole punch
* Yarn
* Jingle bell or other small bell
* Waterproof marker

Halloween crafts for kids can be simple or elaborate according to the child's skill level. In this case, the amount of preparation depends on the age of your child. For young children, You'll need to cut out the shape of a ghost from the flat piece of foam and punch a hole in the top and bottom of the ghostly figure. Older children can do this step themselves.

Have the child use the marker to create the face of the ghost. Cut two lengths of yarn. One will be for the top of the ghost as a hook and the other for the bottom to hold the bell. Have your child string the bell, put the yarn through the bottom hole and tie it so the bell dangles. Then simply add the ribbon to the top and loop it to make a handle to hang up the ghost.
